CMG Curb Mount Glass Skylights
Curb mount glass skylights are installed over a curb or frame that is mounted to the roof. Curbs are usually made from wood, but can also be made of metal. Our curb mount skylights come in 9 standard sizes with two glazing options.
Sash
Corrosion-proof .062" extruded aluminum with welded corners to guarantee a leakproof seal. Powder coated for extra durability. Curb is oversized to fit most curbs.
Glass
Choice of tempered, high impact LoE-240 glass or high velocity/hurricane approved model. Skylight features a condensation gutter to channel moisture off of the glass.
Interior
The underside of the skylight perimeter has a thick foam tape gasket to seal the sash to the curb and keep the unit water-tight.

MD-ICMG Curb Mount Glass Skylights
Officially Certified "Hurricane Approved" by Miami-Dade County
MD-ICMG is Kennedy's highest performing glass skylight. It features all the same quality components of the CMG model but has undergone intense water pressure testing, large missile impact testing and water infiltration testing to be officially certified by the Miami-Dade County Product Control as approved for all hurricane and HVHZ wind zones. It's available in 8 models without a curb or in 3 models with a 6" high curb. Visit Miami-Dade County building approval website.
