SFVG Self Flashing Ventilated Glass Skylights
Kennedy ventilating skylights exhibit high quality and top performance in an affordable glass skylight. The skylight opens up to 8" either manually or with either an electric or solar controller.
Sash
Corrosion-proof .062" extruded aluminum with welded corners to guarantee a leakproof seal. Top side of sash has an easy-release continuous hinge for quick sash replacement. Powder coated for extra durability.
Glass
Features tempered LoE-240 glass. Skylight includes a condensation gutter to channel moisture off of the glass.
Deck Mount Flashing
Extra wide flange with pre-drilled holes for easy installation. Powder coated for extra durability.
Interior
Pre-finished white poplar wood interior. Thick foam gasket around the perimeter seals the sash to the curb to keep it water-tight.
Insect Screen
Removeable insect screen keeps bugs out. Skylight opens up to 8" either manually, or using an electric or solar-powered operator.

SFSVG Solar Vented Glass Skylight
SSFVG is Kennedy's most advanced glass skylight which qualifies for a 30% federal tax credit on both the model purchase and installation costs. It features the same quality components as the SFVG model but is manufactured with a solar powered opening system which is operated with a remote control. It requires no wiring, which makes for an easy, cost-effective installation. A rain sensor is also included which will close the skylight automatically if inclement weather approaches. The SFSVG is available in the same sizes as the SFVG model.
